Basis for this painting was when I came across the intriguing titel ‘Looking for Mr. Goodbar’. It is a book and movie based on an actual murder of a schoolteacher in the Seventies in which the schoolteacher gets murdered, stabbed several times with a knife, after having casual sex. This info was found on Wikipedia and I decided to use it for this painting.
