The paintings in these series embark on a captivating journey through the realm of shape and color and a smidgen of the surreal. Rooted in a spontaneous creative process that began in 2017, these artworks demonstrate an enchanting fusion of vibrant forms and imaginative concepts that dance between the boundaries of the tangible and the ethereal.
From squares to circles to whimsical fantasy shapes, each canvas becomes a stage where these geometric entities come alive. These shapes possess a dynamic quality, seemingly shifting between three-dimensional presence and two-dimensional planes, blurring the line between reality and reverie.
What once appears as a simple square could swiftly morph into a closed box, inviting the viewer's curiosity, or perhaps it transforms into an open vessel, beckoning for exploration.
Circles, endowed with their innate symbolism of unity and wholeness, traverse through an equally diverse metamorphosis. They may stand as flat and symbolic, akin to celestial orbs, only to transform into spherical wonders reminiscent of planets or playful bouncy spheres. The remarkable metamorphosis may carry a narrative thread, transitioning into facial features or even, intriguingly, into a visage of a skull.
The creative journey is a reflection of a subconscious voyage, where shapes take on lives of their own, guided by an intuition that instinctively knows the path to wander.
